In addition to a briefing, you'll get a Tri-Pass that allows you passage to the first three islands as well as a new Town Map.

Unfortunately, you'll have to earn this ability by collecting the Ruby and the Sapphire gems. This contains the Network Machine which you can use to trade with Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire and Colosseum.

You'll first notice the unusually large PokeCenter. If you pick no, you'll be able to pick up this quest at any time by visiting Bill at the Cinnabar Island PokeCenter. If you pick yes, the top answer, he'll escort you on to a ferry that magically appears from the right side of the screen. Immediately after beating Blaine at the Cinnabar Gym, Bill will show up and offer you the chance to go to the Sevii Islands. This part of the game is completely optional, but it's highly recommended that you take this quest.
